PaveDock Assistant signal system

The simplified signal system ensures smooth mix transfer and therefore constant material flow. Signal lights mounted on both sides of the paver mean the signal is visible from all directions of approach. They have two clear signals: green for “Positioning” and red for “Stop.” This ensures smooth and quick communication between the mix truck and the paver – a key factor in ensuring time-saving, high-quality asphalt paving.

PaveDock push-rollers

The integrated spring suspension in the push-roller absorbs shock during material feeding, creating an even surface. The extra-wide push-rollers are fully adjustable longitudinally, to match the geometry of the mix truck. The pendulum-mounted suspension ensures constant secure contact with the mix truck, even when the two sides of the paver are subject to uneven load on bends.

Optimized material handling

The material handling in front of the screed provides for an optimal head of mix in every paving situation. The conveyor and auger are driven by powerful hydraulic single drives, enabling high levels of paving performance. The control signals of the conveyor and auger are combined to ensure smooth material flow and a consistent head of mix in front of the screed, preventing load peaks and reducing fuel consumption.

Power Tunnel

The Power Tunnel is a hydraulically adjustable auger tunnel limiting plate with an automatic function that ensures an optimal head of mix in front of the screed. It is ideal for varying pave widths without fixed-width screed extensions. The limiting plate deploys automatically when the screed moves. There is no need for the time-consuming process of mounting limiting plates, making it extra user-friendly.

Heated auger plow

The heated auger plow effectively prevents mix from sticking during paving. That makes low-temperature asphalt in particular easier to pave, and contributes to perfect pavement.

Faster setup

Time-saving side plate mounting

The hinged side plates stay on the paver, and can be swung away behind the screed and secured for transport. This makes it easy to maintain an allowable transport width of 2.55 m to 3 m (8.4 ft. to 9.8 ft.), and the side plates do not have to be transported separately. Easy mounting and practical sensor attachments save time, and ready the paver for operation faster. This also enhances user-friendliness.

Dual Power Shift tamper stroke adjuster

A correctly set tamper stroke is a key factor in both the compaction result and the floating behavior of screeds. The hydraulic tamper stroke adjuster ensures the optimal tamper stroke for the paving job at the push of a button. The switch from 4 to 2 mm (0.16 in. to 0.08 in.) and from 4 to 8 mm (0.16 in. to 0.32 in.) happens hydraulically, making setup much faster, enabling correct settings for specific layer thicknesses, and expanding the range of available paving options.

Screed extension mounting aid

The plug-in system enables quick and easy mounting of the screed extensions by simply slotting them onto the side of the screed and aligning them using a quick coupler. That makes changeovers faster, and makes it easier for operators to carry out various actions to enhance user-friendliness.

Even more efficient

Screed heating with Boost?function

The Boost function rapidly brings the heating rods up to temperature. This saves valuable preparation time. The system can also run in Eco mode, allowing for more sustainable operation.

Quick startup with Paver?Access?Control (PAC)

Paver Access Control (PAC) allows the paver to be readied for operation from the screed, reducing the time it takes to start up the paver. Once all systems, lights, and the diesel engine have been switched on, the screed can immediately be lowered and screed heating can begin.

Easier transport with Light?Package?Plus

The LED lights integrated into the canopy illuminate the entire working area around the screed, eliminating the need for separately mounted balloon lights. This also reduces the workload for the operating personnel on the jobsite, and enhances user-friendliness. Since no additional mounting is required, the Light Package Plus really saves time.
